Re-finished Wooden High Chair

Here is an old wooden high chair that has had several years of abuse from several families. You can only imagine the shape this was in, but since it’s solid wood you can easily refinish it. Here it is when I received it. Now to fixing this little gem! This first thing I did was wipe down down the surface with denatured alcohol to get off any grease or residue. Then I sanded it with 220 sand paper to get it ready for stain. I applied 1 coat of Dura Seal penetrating floor stain in color Coffee Brown. Hand Scraped Round Side Table

Have I ever told you that I love rustic furniture? Well Im crazy about it, and when I was given this antique round side table I got extremely excited! I pondered for months trying to decide what I was going to do with this piece. Then suddenly it came to me, I wanted to give this table a hand scraped look.
